  1. Discover the ZHL Video Studio: Learn the easy way to produce videos in our studio. With a user-friendly setup, you'll be creating professional-looking content with just a few clicks.
  2. Turn lectures into interactive content: Turn your traditional lecture material into engaging video content and make it interactive. Learn how to upload your videos to YouTube and embed them in H5P, adding quizzes, hotspots and other elements to increase student engagement and retention.
  3. Use AI to enhance content: Discover how to use artificial intelligence tools to enhance your video content. Explore AI-powered features for script refinement and visual enhancements.
  4. Generate Questions with AI: Learn how to use AI to create thought-provoking questions and assessments that align with your video content, saving time while ensuring quality.
  5. Create a complete interactive learning experience: Combine all of these elements to produce sophisticated, interactive video lessons that appeal to different learning styles and promote active learning.

No previous video production or programming experience is required. 

 

Workshop format: 

The workshop will be held hybrid. You can participate via ZOOM, but it is strongly recommended that you attend in person.

Your instructor:
Paul Dölle will conduct the seminar with you. He is a research associate at the Center for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (ZHL). He has been interested in digital teaching-learning resources since 2014 and conducts seminars on "digital" topics and many aspects of higher education didactics. He build up the video studio at the ZHL. The most important topics in his portfolio are flipped classroom, activating students with analog and digital means, moderation of small and large groups, training of tutors and e-tutors. Since 2023, he has been giving seminars on the use of AI in teaching. He organizes the ZHL's seminar program.
